Black swan inspired photoshoot

I seriously get to work with some incredibly talented suppliers!! it always amazes me just how a bunch of people with all different ideas on a styled shoot and imagination, can be brought together in one blooming incredible photoshoot!!

And this shoot was one right up there on the scale of amazingness.

Sarah from scent with love had a vision of the black swan inspired styled shoot and her vision brought together made one epic shoot. with it being Sarah's first organised shoot that she organised herself , she went all out at and you can see the effort, time and dedication she went to to make her first one truly outstanding. Sarah has done many years of floristry and is absolutely outstanding with her skills of making beautiful flowers look even more beautiful, and who would have thought that even lots of dark and black flowers could look this incredible!! i knew working with Sarah on this shoot that her input into the flowers and décor would be out of this world.....and it truly is.

this shoot was taken in the amazing Ruthin castle hotel and spa

The shoot was captured by the very talented duo - Martin and Debbie Vaughan from Martin Vaughan Photography taking the most amazing eye-catching pictures, just take a look below.

Every corner we turned it was more and more eerie and wacky

Just check out this food!!! so fitting for this style of shoot - made by Marc Macauley Catering -

- on these specially made plates, tea lights and bowls all fused glass designed especially for this shoot by the very clever Rhiannon from Morgan Wright Glass

CAKE- could the look anymore delicious the black cake was made up of 10/8/6/4 inch tiers, with the bottom tier rose ruffles, second tier was a glitter flake finish, a plain black tier and then the top tier a feather effect

white cake - 8/6/4 inch tiers, with rose ruffles on the bottom, plain white middle tier and top tier white feathers, all made with lots of love and incredible effort and time.

which goes into every cake that Pippa from Cariad Cakes makes.

Hair and makeup was done to fit in with this shoot, not my average bridal hairstyling but I absolutely loved how both the ladies hair turned out, I used a pencil wand for the hair styling, and omg Helen (blonde model) has the most gorgeous thick hair iv ever seen!! to achieve this look it took a while!

the girls amazing makeup was done by the lovely Cathryn from made up by Cathryn , going dark and Smokey on one model and soft and glamourous on the other.....and glitter....who doesn't love a bit of glitter!

There were a few dress changes, and some to include specially designed gowns made by lucy crew

The finale...…..

we rounded off this incredible day with the most incredible images your eyes can see, these talented models are both ballet dancer trained and had the most stamina I have seen to be able to do these poses over and over again for us to capture hundreds of outstanding images...….well done ladies you were amazing. I think the pictures speak for themselves!!
