  • When is the best time to book my wedding hair and makeup?
we recommend booking your date with us as soon as you have your date confirmed, our diaries fill up very quickly with some brides securing thier dates 2-3 prior to their wedding.
  • Do I need a trial?
We always advise every bride to have a trial, although this is not possible for some brides especially on destination weddings. It is important to us that you get to see what your hair and makeup will look like on your wedding day, this relieves stress from the bride worrying that she won't like the end result if there has been no trial.
  • Where are trials held?
we have a studio here in upper colwyn bay where we house evrything ready for your trial, including our own bridal hair accessories available for all our brides to try on. we can however for a fee come out to you on aa trial if its not convenient here with us at the studio.
  • When should I have my trial?
Trials are held on midweek days, this being that every weekend is taken for bridal bookings only. We advise trial to be held around 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date although it does seem to be increasingly popular to have trials around 6 month before the wedding, the choice is completely yours.
  • How long does the trial last?
Trials last around 2-3 hours, in this time we go over picture inspirtaions you have, step by step hair and makeup to make sure your liking the look each step of the way.
  • Do I need to bring anything to my trial?
We ask you bring any picture inspirations you like of certain hair and makeup styles, if you have purchased any hair acessories (altough we do stock our whole range of bridal accessories to try on) and your veil if you have it at the time of trials.
  • Do the rest of my bridal party need a trial?
This is completely up to you the bride, we would normally say its not necessary, but it is personal preference. some people feel very nervous about having their hair and makeup done professionally so if this is the case and you would feel more comfortable having a trial before the weding date then we would advise considering having a trial.
